Mitsubishi Motors Genuine Accessories installed by an Authorized Mitsubishi Motors Dealer are considered for warranty purposes to be original equipment and covered by the MMSCAN New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

 

GENUINE ACCESSORIES

The following factory, port or Mitsubishi Motors dealer installed items are covered for 3 years or 60,000 kms, whichever occurs first (excluding normal wear and tear):

Audio units, amplifiers, navigation systems, CD changers, DVD video players and other vehicle entertainment systems.
Bulbs (all filament bulbs).

 

INSTALLATION

Installation at a Mitsubishi Motors dealer can be done anytime within the MMSCAN New Vehicle Limited Warranty period to receive coverage for the full basic warranty period. Installations completed at non-Mitsubishi dealers are covered under the Parts Warranty for 12 months or 20,000 kms, whichever occurs first.

 

OVER THE COUNTER

Unless a special warranty applies, Mitsubishi Motors Genuine Accessories sold "over the counter" are warranted for 12 months or 20,000 kms (if verifiable) from the date of sale, whichever occurs first. Mitsubishi Motors Genuine Accessories sold "over the counter" to parts wholesalers or other retailers are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 12 months or 20,000 kms from (if verifiable) the date of sale, whichever occurs first. Documentation of the original purchase must be retained in dealership files. Warranty coverage for accessories sold over the counter exclude installation charges.
